Why the hell do guys grow beards? Is it just lazyness?
So I was on that side of Youtube again where I went from watching cat videos to before and after video of guys who shaved their beard.

Every single time I have ever in the past seen someone who's completely shaved their beard looks 10 years younger and so much nicer.

I do not have a beard. I shave every day ! I am not lazy

I can imagine for a wife if your married it's probably disgusting having to try and kiss around that. Food gets stuck in there and everything.

Just having a beard seems disgusting and a mental issue IMHO

What the hell is it with guys and beards?

My wife made me.
I'm a year+ younger that her. When I shave my beard/mustache, She says it makes her look older, like she is robbing the cradle.

It's definitely more work shaving and trimming than just shaving it all off.

I ALWAYS GET THE LAST WORD!
Yes dear...

A beard is more natural than a clean shaven face. If God wanted me to shave He wouldn't have invented whiskers.

I am not sure calling guys with beards lazy, disgusting, and having mental issues is a "humble opinion". Someone who takes it that far might have issues of their own. Anyway, I think I look better with a goatee and wife doesn't mind. I shave my head cause it is easy and I am balding anyway. I guess I am a lazy guy who coaches multiple teams and run 75-80 miles a week.

Shall I write you a thesis of my issues? It would be quite long They sure in hell don't make people look better so yes laziness is my conclusion. So it's more than likely that the fictional Jesus in the Fiction bible had a beard. Talk about mental issues there boy... shall I have people stoned to death for sneezing the wrong way or shall they be forgiven.

Why the doesn't everybody shave all the hair off their body? Do you shave your eyebrows or your head? Is it lazy to not shave your eyebrows? Do you pluck your eyelashes? I don't understand why I should have to do something that someone else considers "normal". A beard is functional and natural. It is just as absurd to shave a beard as it would be to expect you to shave your head, eyebrows, or any other place you may have hair growing.

I don't consider a woman who chooses to have natural legs, armpits, upper lip, or eyebrows to be lazy or disgusting. I do find smooth legs more attractive on a woman, but I don't consider it a character flaw if she chooses to be comfortable with her natural body.

Just my two cents. To each their own, I guess.

I don't think a woman's point of view matters to OP. It is doubtful that he has a GF.

I've been told I look good in A trimmed beard, which is more work than shaven.

Keeps my man's face warm. Especially when riding. It is a lot of trimming, sculpting, and upkeep. By far easier for him to shave. Love a nice goatee!

I would never think a man is lazy for having a beard. That thought wouldn't even cross my mind.
I personally don't like guys with beards. But that's just me. But I do find some men look better with a beard or mustache. My ex had a mustache and once he decided to shave it off. He looked so strange. So he grew it back. So I guess it depends. But if he does have a beard, it should be nicely groomed and not like a chia pet.

I also think it's a style now with younger men but it sure makes them look older if that's what they are going for. Can't be very nice to kiss either especially that 5 oclock shadow look that a lot of movie stars and actors are wearing. Personally I like my men clean shaven but I'm sure there are other women who have other opinions.

My hubby has had a beard for all of the 30 years we have been together. He is not lazy and I find him incredibly attractive. Always have. The beard has gone from brown to white, mind you, but fine just the same. It is not "yucky" or disgusting. There is no food in there because my husband is not a slob either.

Hey, here's one:
Why the hell do people post their insulting opinions on the the internet?
Seems disgusting and a mental issue IMHO.

"Idiocracy". It's a movie, not an instruction manual.

I think it's a personal thing for beards / mustaches .. I prefer clean shaven...

And I agree that thing about leaving a stubble seems even less attractive.. like they woke up late and didn't have time to clean up.
