I just got an email informing me of a settlement from eBay and PayPal. I haven't gone so far as to open the claim form to see what they are requesting as documentation. A google search only pulled up one web site that explains the "settlement" in detail. I did notice a typo on the first page.
It claims there is money to be refunded if you used a source other than a cc (using paypal) to purchase an item, then put a claim in to revers the charges because of not receiving the item.
This really did happen to me. PayPal only refunded me some of the money and kept $25 as a processing fee.
Is this some type of new scam aimed at getting our PayPal info, or is this a legit thing?

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
