I think some men do look better with facial hair, some do not.
I think some beards are to announce their identity to the world.

I'm a hipster
I'm a redneck
I'm a hippie
I'm an intellectual
I'm a man
I'm a believer (some religions prescribe certain facial hair)
I'm a non-conformist

homeless men for obvious reasons.
supplies can add up so it could be economical reasons
as a man's face sags and wrinkles it just becomes more difficult.

To be gender equal, why do women wear/not wear makeup?

I agree with trick24. Beards and goatees involve a lot of trimming, sculpting and upkeep, so laziness isn't a factor. In my opinion, they make most men look better. Besides, this is the golden age of facial hair!

I do not have a beard. I shave every day ! I am not lazy

I can imagine for a wife if your married it's probably disgusting having to try and kiss around that. Food gets stuck in there and everything.

Just having a beard seems disgusting and a mental issue IMHO

What the hell is it with guys and beards?
I have very sensitive skin, and shaving causes irritation/hives...I really don't like dealing with at. I'm not a total slob, so food doesn't get stuck in my beard....WTH?

It is just personal preference..not being lazy.. lol.
Personally I find men with beards sexy.

My husband has a beard and I find it very VERY attractive .

VERY Handsome and VERY nice looking.

He is not lazy at all.

Now I'm looking back at old posts to find anything indicating gender.

Were you deliberately being neutral before LuckySkunky? Like mentioning you had a niece, but not mentioning whether you were an uncle or aunt?

Beards are VERY in style now.

As long as it's clean and groomed, I don't have a issue with it.

My husband has always had a very close trimmed beard. In the summer it's a goatee. I have never seen him without it.

1. Picture when we were first married 22 years ago
2. A few years ago during his hunting trip with his brother. My husband is on the right.
